Does anyone know how to make this?
I'm larger round the tummy area which means buying bigger sizes to fit that. So the bust neck line and sleeves never hang right. I would love to have a go at making my own stuff, as I know the type of thing I'd like to wear/make, but dont want to pay 100's for a dummy. Would chicken wire wrapped around me to get my shape, then slightly padded out be enough?

I'm wanting to make some fairy wings for my daughter halloween costume. I bought everything I need, cost a fortune, would hae been cheaper to buy, but hey, thats no fun i guess!
The problem I have is finding wire strong enough to stay rigid when I pull the stocking over it.

What do you guys use? And where do I buy it? I know you can use wire coat hangers, but I dont know where to buy those. I'm stuck Sad
