Cute skirt.

I love pom-pom trim. I just used some on a gibbous style bag I just finished. I bought the trim for a table runner for a friend, and had some over.

I've been faffing about with my scraps today, like I don't have more important things to do  Grin

I was altering a dress I don't wear, and was trying to Gibbous it up, but it will take yards and yards of fabric (i'm a big girl!), meaning lots of money, as my scraps are small.

So, I decided to make a bag. I'll try and use it at least once  Smiley

Thankyou  Grin

I like the skull one too. The white, grey and skull one I sold to colleagues lol I got some new fabrics today to make wacky ones, so I hope they sell too!

It's it's the second pattern I made from scratch, after getting ideas here of course  Grin

27  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: Tutorial: Pyramid Bag on: August 30, 2010 02:22:05 PM
I am loving everyones bags. The colours and patterns are lovely!

I'm on a night out at the weekend, and need lots of pink accessories. I don't own a pink bag, and it wasn't something I wanted to buy, as I'm not a pink person, so I wouldn't use a pink bag again. I rummaged through my scraps, and came up with this. I used iron-on interfacing to stiffen the bag lining a bit, as the pink stuff is very flimsy. Also my machine refuse to play nice, so I had to hand stitch from start to finish.
It's only holding a small purse, mobile phone, and ciggarettes, so should hold up for the night!

30  CLOTHING / Clothing for Curvaceous Craftsters: Completed Projects / Shirred Maxi Dress on: July 02, 2010 02:58:40 PM
I threw a couple of Maxi's together. I usually don't wear anything without at least short sleeves, but lately got the confidence to wear stuff with thin straps, so made these......

This was before I put the straps on.....
