OK, feedback should be posted for all of y'all.  Trying to get caught up and finish off a bunch of craftster loose ends.  Finishing all the swaps I'm in, and then that's it for swapping on craftster for me.  I love swapping, but I've got to take a break for financial reasons and also to, hopefully, find a differently crafting community in general.

I got a great package from Cheyenneswthrt07!  It came right in the middle of my yardsale, and the anticipation of getting to open it drove me nuts for a couple of hours!  LOL

2 coasters in a bowl (the bowl also has TAPS stencilled on it) -- I cracked up giggling over the EVP one:

"Beads of Ectoplasm"  BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!  This is great!  (And, VERY useful!)

And, the very, very, very bestest thing --- a thick, SOFT, BEAUTIFUL, crocheted shawl.  This woman has crazymad crochet skills!  It is sooooo comfy!  I have a new favorite piece of cool weather clothing!!!  Funny story:  My aunt gave me a soft, knit, storebought shawl for Christmas that I really like, but it's teal which, while being a color I like, doesn't match much of my winter clothing.  I had been wishing for (and even wisted) a black shawl!  So, I am happy, happy, happy about this item!!!

Now, I can only hope my partner is as happy with her package.  *swap anxiety*  Nothing could match that shawl!

10,000 thank yous, partner!  I am sooooo happy with my package!

HOLY COW, CJCLARK!!!!!!!!! OMIGOSH AT THE GARDENING BOX!!!!!!!!!!!

SQUUUUUEEEEEEEEEEEE EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE EE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyone on my block who was outside and within sight/hearing range of my driveway when I cut the box open turned around to stare because I let out just a joyous yelp!

I got outside to get pics in good light today before the thunderstorms roll in.  Already called my mom and told her that we'd be LATE because I was going to wait the weather out.

This is an AMAZINGLY generous box of loot!  And, wow, cjclark knows how to pack a flatrate box TIGHT!!!  LOLOLOL

OK, now I feel guilty that DQH spent money to buy a full price, new copy of Made From Scratch for me because cjclark included a 2nd hand copy in the box.  But, I had a good idea!  Because these 2 women have showered me with such generous love this week, I can spread the love and make someone else happy!  Who in this Frugalong would like a copy of the Jenna Woginrich book?  I will happily mail it to you next Saturday! Grin  Just PM me (sorry, can only ship USA Sad )!  And, if more than one person wants it, why don't we just start it to circulating around?  One book in a big envelope via media mail domestically isn't crazy postage.  We could share it!!!  *still feeling so bad about DQH spending that money Sad *

Pictures of the box o'decluttered gardening joy!  (BTW, cjclark, now I'm wondering what all was in the box you sent to ... was it your sister?  sister-in-law?)

The whole shebang (neighbors staring as I react loudly):

Yes, she fit all of that in a medium flat rate box!  LOLOLOL  Wow!
Seed starting pots, gardening and canning books, gardening magazines, seed packets, packets of pectin, jug of fertilizer pellets.  OH WOW!!!!!!!

The canning pectin:

The reading material (GREAT stuff!):

Bazillions of seeds!!!

The seed packets I SQUEEEEEEEEE'd the loudest about:

THANK YOU, CJCLARK!!!  THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Remember, if you want a copy of the wonderful book Made From Scratch, PM me!  It may be that we get a sharing circle going on it!  I want everyone else to feel as happy and cuddly loved as I am!!!

OK, the other thing I said I'd mention later, I did a dumbass thing.  I had been eating myself alive with discomfort and awkwardness because for a long time I had been feeling something, well, more than friendship for a friend.  This is someone I've known for years.  Yesterday, riding the high of having gotten the cosmic hug from DQH via UPS, I did a brave, scary, STUPID thing and told him.  I got shot down.  Sweetly and kindly, but shot down nonetheless.  So, as I sat on my front steps crying (pathetic, I know), what got me up off of those steps was getting up to go cut open cjclark's box.  DQH and cjclark's loving kindness kinda helped put some starch back into my backbone, picked me up, and even got me smiling a bit again.  With sisters like craftster ladies, I can survive men, right?  *sigh*  Awww, heck.  Now, I'm crying again, dammit.

*sigh*  Sapphire received yesterday, and she STILL hasn't emptied the Giant Tentacle O'Whimsies!  Grrrrr!!!  That woman has waaaay too high a tolerance for suspense!  LOL

I wanted to shower Sapphire with lots of her favorite colors.

Sapphire, you are killing me!  Empty the tentacle already!!!  That's where most of your whimsies are!!!  (BTW, the little owl doodad holder thing was a 25cent thrift shop SCORE!  How cool is that?!?!?)

BTW, Sapphire, there's another crafted item in the tentacle.  Something you said you needed more of.  Wink

6  Giant Tentacle O'Whimsies in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by Aikibookworm on: March 11, 2010 02:48:16 PM
I was partnered with TheSapphireMoon for the Jar of Whimsies Round 7 swap.  For her "jar", I made her a giant drawstring tentacle.  Once she has pillaged it for her whimsies, she can use it either for storage or fill it full of fluff and use the suction cup suckers to attach it to a window.  That way, it'll look like a kraken's trying to escape out her window.  Here's her tentacle full o'whimsies right before I boxed it up.

10  Still learning to make jewelry in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by Aikibookworm on: March 08, 2010 02:58:54 PM
My swap partner has received, so I can post, now.  I made pinokeeo some jewelry for the March Odd Holidays swap.  The green and white beaded pendant and the orange, green, and white button pin are for Irish American Heritage.  And, the blue dragonflies earrings and pendant set, blue celestial earrings and pendant set, blue beads pin, and celestial necklace are for National Craft Month.  She got her package today and seems pleased.  I hope she likes her pretties!
