this is so beautiful !!  Shocked You are really good at wirewrapping !! And thank you for the link on the tute...Just a question : do you make the chain with the wigjig tool, or just with pliers ? In other words, do you think it can be done with only pliers ? Because that wigjig tool is a little expensive for me...

Anyway, wonderful work ( as always... even if  it is the first time I comment your work I have seen your other pieces and you are sooo talented !! )

Hi everyone !!

Ok, I am going to ask you how you think i cant set this pieces. They are made out of polymer clay but my question isn't about polymer clay technique... So I think it goes here... Anyway, if a moderator thinks this topic must moe, i'm totally fine with that !

So ! I've made these "bits" out of polymer clay. They where a loooot of fun and I like them so much but I'm quite uninspired on how to set them... So please help me with your ideas !

Gray and green...

Random bits...

All together, with a pen for size reference

... And some brown/golden other thingies !

That's it, I'm so sorry for the blurry pics but It's evening here and the light isn't good...

Tank you all for looking and I hope to read your comments !!!
5  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: Japanese-style handmade bag on: May 20, 2008 07:04:28 AM
Well thank you all for the comments !!! I'm getting so exited since this is my first post !! Thanks !!!

And, it is hand-sewn, yes, but you could'nt really do it with a machine.... Tah bag is composed by 12 japaneses "blocks", wich are made separately... They are made by one big round piece, and a smallest square piece, that fits into the round one. Then you put the square piece onto the round, and fold the round edges over it. This part has to be sewn with a sashiko point, and I think you can't do it with a machine right ?? Then you hae to assemble all the pieces together, and sice there are no seams allowances, it has to be done by hand....

Well, I don't know if I'm very clear... You have to forgie me for my english, actually I'm French and don't speak English very well yet...

And thank you again for all you nice comments !!

I love them both !! With a preference for the second... Love the "decorated" wire sections... Simple, but soo effective !! They are indee so "beachy" !! Nice work !! ( now you hae to make the bikini/pareo that goes well with them !! )
