3  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions / Re: How do you sew a bottom on a bag on: June 01, 2009 09:30:30 AM
You can also use plexiglass for the bottom.
Just cut it to the size you need.
Either use it as it is or make a little pouch and stick it in.

I fell in love with this green purse...
Sadly I cannot read Japanese.
Any ideas where I can find a pattern or tutorial for this type of bag? I can lengthen or shorten handles or reshape bottom of bag if I have to but would prefer not having a seam in the middle of the bag front. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

LOVE this case!

Wish I would have seen it before I bought a purse case...
And a game case that only holds 4 of our 7 games.

WILL be making this for daughters birthday in June.

Will also be giving the bought one away.

This one is WAY better!!!!!!

Thanks for posting it!

I didn't like sock monkeys until I saw people making them out of funky and fuzzy socks. I bought some cute socks, now I just have to get around to making them.  I like how on your black monkey with the hearts all over it, her hearts on her chest look like a bikini top. CUTE!! Love the baby too!!

I'm sorry about the poor showing at the craft show.
But...you just helped your friend with her gifts!!!!
And if her family would ever want to buy these cuties for others, she could just have them call you. Instant
referrals. WooHoo!!!!

May I ask what you used for the monkey's eyes?

MONKEYS!!!!!!!!!
Super job!!!
If I saw these at a craft show there would be no room in my daughters bed for her because she would have a bed full of...monkeys!!!
hahaha
Hope they all get good homes.

oops pushed a wrong button.  heehee

I LOVE this project.
Want to make for my 5 year old daughter to take to school for Christmas gifts.
Was just wondering if the plastic bag has to be a certain thickness (mil) so it doesn't melt from the hot soap.
Thanks for the detailed tute with pictures. My fish would have been belly up without the tip about the wire.
