1  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Weddings and Bridal Showers / My wedding favors on: May 13, 2008 11:46:38 AM
I made nugget boxes for my wedding favors.  I have four different paper designs but only two are shown.  The "monogram" is J L M(squared) because we will have the exact same initials.  I saw the design on craftster for the nugget boxes and I loved them!

2  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Weddings and Bridal Showers / Tribute to those passed on: January 22, 2008 07:38:05 AM
Hey guys,

I was talking with my FH the other day about what we wanted in/at/on the wedding and he suggested an idea that I instantly loved.  He wants to have a candle to represent our loved ones who have passed on and could not share our day with us physically.  We are not religious but we are spiritual.  So I have an idea of placing the candle in a central location and have maybe a plaque explaining what the candle means.  The wording would be something to the effect of this candle represents those who have passed...something, something.  I have not seen anything like this before in my experience at weddings.  What do you guys think?  Any suggestions, recommendations, ideas, etc?  Thanks in advance for anything!
3  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Mouse mittens on: November 20, 2007 05:42:18 AM
I made these using the pattern found here:  http://www.magknits.com/Jan06/patterns/mouse.htm
They were made for my nephew Levi for Christmas.  It is such a cute pattern and it was my first time knitting in the round with DPNs.

Thanks for looking!
4  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Dragon Scarf on: October 29, 2007 06:21:25 AM
I saw the dragon scarf from Morehouse Farms and I thought the kit was too expensive for me.  So I thought I would try to make one on my own for my nephew for Christmas.  It is a little short for a scarf but I think it should fit him okay.  Here it is:

Thanks for looking

Hi everyone,

First of all I must tell you that I have been checking this site out for quite a while.  I just decided to join today and to post some of my recent finished pieces.  I also just started a knitting journal/portfolio? thing.  I wish I would have done that a long time ago.  But anway, these are my pics.  Thank you for checking them out!
