1  My wedding favors in Weddings and Bridal Showers by madscientist on: May 13, 2008 11:46:38 AM
I made nugget boxes for my wedding favors.  I have four different paper designs but only two are shown.  The "monogram" is J L M(squared) because we will have the exact same initials.  I saw the design on craftster for the nugget boxes and I loved them!

2  Re: Quick! I need ideas on what to make with this fabric! in Clothing for Curvaceous Craftsters: Discussion and Questions by madscientist on: March 28, 2008 12:18:02 PM
I love this fabric.  I do not think the print will make you look bigger.  However, from experience, I find that a shirt or dress with three distinct sections (bust, waist, and hip) are best.  I added an example of this below.  I think the fabric will be lovely.  If you are still worried about the print you could wear a solid colored cardigan over.

3  Mouse mittens in Knitting: Completed Projects by madscientist on: November 20, 2007 05:42:18 AM
I made these using the pattern found here:  http://www.magknits.com/Jan06/patterns/mouse.htm
They were made for my nephew Levi for Christmas.  It is such a cute pattern and it was my first time knitting in the round with DPNs.

Thanks for looking!

4  Dragon Scarf in Knitting: Completed Projects by madscientist on: October 29, 2007 06:21:25 AM
I saw the dragon scarf from Morehouse Farms and I thought the kit was too expensive for me.  So I thought I would try to make one on my own for my nephew for Christmas.  It is a little short for a scarf but I think it should fit him okay.  Here it is:

5  Some FOs in Knitting: Completed Projects by madscientist on: October 23, 2007 06:43:14 AM
Hi everyone,

First of all I must tell you that I have been checking this site out for quite a while.  I just decided to join today and to post some of my recent finished pieces.  I also just started a knitting journal/portfolio? thing.  I wish I would have done that a long time ago.  But anway, these are my pics.  Thank you for checking them out!
