It DOES look like meat, but I like that. It's unique.

I love the yoke on the first one!
3  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Ruffled Mini Skirts, lots of them :) on: June 18, 2009 03:06:03 PM
Is there a patten number or is it self-made?
I can picture how it might be done but i'm not sure how many inches high each rectangle should be.
4  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: My FIRST GRANNY SQUARE! YEEEHAW! on: June 04, 2009 07:46:14 AM
Looks good!
Crocheted squares often form a 'cup' shape on the front side. If there is a side that the edges seem to curl on (like if you rest it on a table only the middle is touching) then that is the front.
It looks like it is backside up there.

10  CLOTHING / Clothing for Curvaceous Craftsters: Discussion and Questions / Good style of skirt-waist? on: May 28, 2009 07:41:14 AM
I have tons of medium to small scraps of fabric that need to become summer skirts!
Can anyone recommend a good (flattering) waist style for a skirt? I have some belly bumps and it seems most skirts pull or wrinkle oddly when I sit, I want something quite fitted but those tiny invisible zippers seem to break or strain the fabric. The wide waistband style (common on pleated skirts) tends to give me muffin top. I haven't found a way to do wrap skirts properly, when i tie them they wriggle up and drape oddly over my lower belly making me look pregnant.
I'm not technically a + size, I am a 10-12 who was formerly a plus size so I have loose belly skin. I hoped you ladies might have some suggestions?
Thanks Smiley
