51  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / some simple but fun bags & purses! i can work piccies! hurrah! on: November 07, 2007 02:44:41 PM
from a while ago, the purses need tweaking a bit as they are not absolutely spot on the same length trim at each side (plus i have worked out a pattern i think i like more) - anyway, they were simple enough to make & quite fun

and a couple of very very simple lined pvc bags

oh, and a more girlie / less gothy purse!
52  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / a few odds & ends of sewing on: November 07, 2007 02:19:51 PM
few more things (used to sew professionally, so think yourselves lucky i dont have pics of all those!)

dress i was asked to make last year, lightly boned, very full skirt with layers of net, held up with ribbons & flowers

and a few test samples of purses - they are a little bit uneven at the top so i wouldnt dream of selling them! (am a right old fusspot)

and some of my fave easy peasy bags, have sold loads of these around the fetish scene here!

there, will leave you good people alone now ;-)
53  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / first try with a piccy -witchy corset on: November 07, 2007 02:11:22 PM

no idea if this will work!
a witchy corset, steel boned, needs a bit of tweaking with the trim at the back (cant bear it if its even a fraction uneven!)

i think it worked! the corset is actually a very vivid purple, but didnt want to photograph properly

pvc, very heavy steel boning, own pattern

54  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Introduce Yourself / Hello from Yorkshire, UK! Land of purple haired teachers, honestly! on: November 02, 2007 02:40:45 PM
Hello, purple-haired (at the mo, likely to change again soon!) teacher here, I used to be a professional dressmaker (now make mainly corsets & gothic- lolita type outfits to sell), having a big knitting phases at the mo...

I paint when I can find the time, & am working on a teacher resource / book at the moment, so most free minutes are spoken for!

Will sort some photos out for posting at some point. In between the million other things crying for attention. Grin
