pretty much what it says on the tin...my first shawl, luna moth, which i absolutely love i HATE having my piccie taken, my daughter took a pic of the back of the shawl (in the cinema toilets, after mamma mia this afternoon, we are posh like that) then sneaked this one too - and i dont hate it tooooo much obviously my hair colour is totally natural... amd totally addicted now and cast on for a different shawl as soon as i had this one blocking (it does come to a proper point at the bottom, i had been sitting on it for the past 2 hours!)

firstly, massive apologies for the late posting of this, which is really rude of me - sorry kenners and antarticraft! kenners sent me a brilliant package, i took piccies when it came and they have been sitting in my camera ever since - i only noticed a few minutes ago that they wristlet that was also included isnt in the picture because i put it straight on when i opened it, and have worn it lots of times since! its felt and lace, with a felt flower on, i absolutely love it this is my fabulous swappy gift - everything came with beautiful explanation tags, my daughter pinched my tea set as she loves different types of tea, she says thank you! since this picture was taken, the beautiful bag has been on a night out and was much admired, a couple of the notelets have ben used (i am keeping the last one because they are so pretty), and the bookmark is currently in russell brands booky wook everything is brilliant, theres so much thought and detail in everything - i really love it! oh, the brooch is currently on a plain black velvet bag of mine and looks great! thank you again kenners, and sorry once again for being so very late with this photo

ok - this is the first time i have opened a swap parcel and laughed out loud - this is brilliant! murbeck, you are a star its very dark here (rain, i sense rain....) and i have low lighting in this room, so the photo doesnt even begin to do it justice and i will take more when its lighter - this made my day! i suspect when you see the piccie i just wont need to say a thing - jess, you will appreciate this too! WURD!! its fab - a painted wuuuurrrrd all of my own! the bag is brilliant - absolutely beautiful material, very posh goth! cant wait ti use this, am going on a spending spree (saw some lovely gothy clothes today and am going back tomorrow with cash), the bag will go perfectly with them (very very well made too, loads of pockets - again, i need to get better pics, unless you have some murbeck?) i love the postcards (gators, arrrggghhh), and as you can maybe tell i have made inroads into the treats, much needed at the moment! the magazine is brilliant and i am going to have a cooking / baking session at the weekend, there are little messages all the way through it which i love this is a really personal, friendly perfect swap, thank you so much!

this is my fantastic spinning package from rubytuesday - apologies for taking so long to post piccies, life has simply managed to get in the way of crafting lately but without further ado: i LOVE this - er, can you tell that the choccie is empty? that was soooo needed after the last week! i have been dying wool with kool aid this weekend, so i have plans for the white roving... spinning is going to be my summer holiday mission - i plan on getting a wheel at some point, although friends have said the drop spindle is excellent for smaller amounts - i cant wait to sit & try it! rubytuesday included an excellent set of instructions, plus some lovely black chenille & a pattern for fetching (which is one of my favourites, made several pairs last year so i now get to make some for meeeee!) every single thing in this parcel was superb - but i LOVE the little punky hedgehog, he really made me smile thank you - this is a generous and thoughtful parcel, and i am really pleased with it - i enjoyed this swap and will be looking out for round 2!
