The company I work for doesn't allow visable tattoos as well.
According to my manager [and to be quite honest, she could be making this up], it's because it makes you 'individual', as in distinctively recognizable from your co-workers.
Pretty lame in my book, but its the price you pay for choosing to place a tattoo in a visable spot. Neither sides are wrong or right, just how some people think.

For the record I'm not republican or democrat either.
However I do strongly believe in voting and doing something for your country, the phrase "rock the vote" doesn't mean you're a donkey or an elephant. It means standing up for what you believe in and doing your part.
Rock the vote swap is the same. you can easily craft things strictly for voting.
what about a tshirt saying "i voted"? totes, notebooks etc. It doesn't HAVE to be a presidential candidate. Like gleep said; local and state elections can effect your home life way more drastically anyway!

why dont you just call it like it is....Not Rock the vote that would be all the way around...It seams as if this really is an Obama group sooooo Just change the swap name to I dont know Rock it with Obama Mamas or somthing like that...

Initially I did suggest it as an obama themed swap. But so many people were interested in doing both sides which is terrific to me. Obama might be more popular on this thread, or just so happens obama fans are speaking up more. But there are [or at least WERE] mccain fans on here as well and I dont think we should discriminate against them. =)

Definitely an intriguing idea. I'll keep this bookmarked see what comes of it. =)

I would personally still be up for this, though I would suggest a small or point valued swap because my time is minimal right now.
I would also suggest it soon so we have time to wear our gear around before the elections!
I don't have any time to organize [sorry!]  but if anyone else is up for it I'd still be up for this!

Sorry I didn't mean start it today!
The thread had been quiet for a while so I just wanted to make sure we were still up for 26th sign ups. I put it in my planner to not forget, and wanted to get everyone pumped and ready! =D

Beyond being an amazing swapper [omg! pix in gallery now btw]...
You did an awesome job organizing. One of the best I've had.
You were great with communication, whether it was getting someone to communicate or just keeping the thread going.
Wonderful organization I might add. Definite props for that.
Thank you for such a great experience. Hopefully my next organizer is HALF of what you are.
[Although I'd be REALLY lucky to get that for my next swap partner! You raised the bar thank you!]
