1  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Wall Shelf Necklaces on: August 06, 2009 09:45:04 AM
I bought the floating bookshelves from an organizational stuff store.

They would be fairly easy to make.  They are just an L shaped shelf with a little lip at the bottom that a book cover fits into to hold the cover up.
2  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Wall Shelf Necklaces on: August 05, 2009 10:29:01 AM
We recently moved and our new bathroom is much smaller than our old bathroom and I need a place to hang my necklaces.

I took a couple of Ikea wall shelves and some picture frames that I have had forever and put them together for an art/neclace holder combination!  The picture frames have some graphic photos from magazines in them with a nail in the bottom for a hook.  Then I hot glued them to the shelf.

I love it!  (the art is an old tshirt that I stretched around an Ikea picture frame)
3  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: Tampon Roll? on: July 10, 2009 01:39:09 PM
I love the idea that it rolls up!  I use a small clutch with a magnet close but they keep falling out the sides.  This would be perfect because I could put my lip glosses in is as well.  Organization!
4  COOKING / Dessert / Birthdays Rock on: July 10, 2009 11:29:15 AM
This is the cake that I made for my birthday last week.  The cake itself is chocolate coconut with a pina colada icing.  The graphic is from a "how to rock" drawing from a magazine and I traced it onto the cake with a sewer's tracing wheel.  This is my second attempt a piping on a cake.  The sides had red stars and dots on it.

5  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Completed Projects / Re: Wall decals and a painted mirror on: May 27, 2009 10:04:05 AM
I have been looking at wall decals on line and haven't found a pattern that I like.  I didn't think about wall fabric or making my own!  Yours are beautiful!  Strong work.
6  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: boring skirt on: May 21, 2009 09:53:47 AM
My suggestion is to put a ribbon around the hipline so that it can still be seen below a shirt.

So perfect!  I love that the circles are handcut.
8  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: flowery sheath dress on: May 21, 2009 09:45:22 AM
I'll throw in my "I love the fabric" as well.  Great work on the zipper as well.
9  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Completed Projects / Re: Turn your closet into a chic NYC boutique on: March 31, 2009 11:36:54 AM
I love this closet.  I recently moved and this is a great idea.  Is the light hardwired or did you have an outlet in the closet?  Such a great project.  Thanks for sharing.

Does anyone know where to buy a dressform in the lower mainland?
