This is an outfit I made for my oldest pug. Funny thing - the local news actually did a piece on my homemade dog clothes. Made me feel special!

Anywho - I didn't know if I should post it here or in the crochet section. But here it goes!



The hat was very important, because he needs something to protect his ears from the cold. He really liked this outfit when he first wore it, but now he hates it  . I wish I could get a better photo of him. He refuses to look into the camera!

I think the purple makes him look like royalty!

This is an afghan I made for my Uncle's birthday, which is this month. He has very plain taste but likes everything big, so I used the chunkiest yarn I could find.



The pattern was a simple ripple pattern, so I was able to make it up as I went along. And since the yarn was so thick, it only took a couple of days to complete! 

This was a gift from my sister. She has no experience with Sculpey, but I think it came out cute. It's a really nice design.



She ran out of pink clay and had to make me a white rose instead. I like that it's elastic. However, I can't wear it that often. The clay is too fragile.

So, I wanted to post something I made years ago. The reason I'm posting it now is because I had to throw it away.   But that's okay. I got plenty of good use from it. It's a grannie square purse. I don't remember it being complicated or time consuming. I used to wear it to college.



It looked better when I originally made it. Now it's old and beat up. My tastes have changed and the yarn gave out. Plus, I need to make room. I tend to be a pack rat.  

I've been lurking around Craftster for a long time now. It's about time that I introduce myself. I'm a college student expecting a degree in art. I do all sorts of crafts like ceramics, embroidery, and anything with a hot glue gun. But I especially love to knit and crochet. I finished my first afghan this year and I think I'm addicted! I finished another one immediately after that and now I'm working on two more. School takes up most of my time, but I always try to squeeze in a little knitting/crocheting. Mostly because it relaxes me.

I have gotten so many ideas from Crafter and I love looking at everyone's projects. You're all so inspiring!
