This looks really great!
22  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / My Old Grannie Square Purse on: February 04, 2010 09:38:41 PM
So, I wanted to post something I made years ago. The reason I'm posting it now is because I had to throw it away.  Sad But that's okay. I got plenty of good use from it. It's a grannie square purse. I don't remember it being complicated or time consuming. I used to wear it to college.

It looked better when I originally made it. Now it's old and beat up. My tastes have changed and the yarn gave out. Plus, I need to make room. I tend to be a pack rat.  Smiley
23  CROCHET / Projects from The Happy Hooker by Debbie Stoller / Re: Garden Scarf! on: February 04, 2010 09:24:16 PM
This was the perfect project to chose. I love it! You're so lucky to have colors that go together in your stash pile. I'm glad your friend likes it!  Smiley
24  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Re: What do you do with cut off yarn ends? on: February 04, 2010 09:13:40 PM
I agree with SomethingSweet. I always use them for stuffing. But you can also use them for collage work or scrapbooking. If the yarn is wool, you might be able to use it to add felt accents to other felt - if you do felting.

27  COOKING / Dessert / Re: my daughter's 20th bday cookies (image heavy) on: February 04, 2010 08:58:49 PM
These look really good! So cute and playful! I don't like cake either. I would have loved these cookies when I was twenty! But I'm the only one who does the baking in my house.

These look very time consuming. But excellent work! You can definitely see all the love you put into them!

You've been busy. This is an excellent idea! I especially like the fish!
29  COOKING / Vegetarian / Vegan / Re: Tomatos on: February 04, 2010 08:54:01 PM
I loooooove baby tomatoes! I always have a lot of them too. I eat them, give them away, make ketchup, can them, and I still have alot left over!
30  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Re: Fresh herbs in soap? on: February 04, 2010 05:54:32 PM
Some fresh herbs "wilt" in the soap. But I don't think you'll have a problem with the herbs you've mentioned. Most herbs really only provide a hint of a fragrance, but they do add nice texture and patterns. Some work as an exfoliant. You're going to have so much fun with it!
