1  Neill's New Outfit! in Pet-Related Crafts: Completed Projects by Lexa on: February 05, 2010 05:05:54 PM
This is an outfit I made for my oldest pug. Funny thing - the local news actually did a piece on my homemade dog clothes. Made me feel special!

Anywho - I didn't know if I should post it here or in the crochet section. But here it goes!

The hat was very important, because he needs something to protect his ears from the cold. He really liked this outfit when he first wore it, but now he hates it  Sad. I wish I could get a better photo of him. He refuses to look into the camera!

I think the purple makes him look like royalty!

2  Afghan for a Birthday in Crochet: Completed Projects by Lexa on: February 05, 2010 04:57:53 PM
This is an afghan I made for my Uncle's birthday, which is this month. He has very plain taste but likes everything big, so I used the chunkiest yarn I could find.

The pattern was a simple ripple pattern, so I was able to make it up as I went along. And since the yarn was so thick, it only took a couple of days to complete!  Smiley

3  Someone Made Me a Present! in Polymer Clay: Completed Projects by Lexa on: February 05, 2010 04:49:22 PM
This was a gift from my sister. She has no experience with Sculpey, but I think it came out cute. It's a really nice design.

She ran out of pink clay and had to make me a white rose instead. I like that it's elastic. However, I can't wear it that often. The clay is too fragile.

4  My Old Grannie Square Purse in Crochet: Completed Projects by Lexa on: February 04, 2010 09:38:41 PM
So, I wanted to post something I made years ago. The reason I'm posting it now is because I had to throw it away.  Sad But that's okay. I got plenty of good use from it. It's a grannie square purse. I don't remember it being complicated or time consuming. I used to wear it to college.

It looked better when I originally made it. Now it's old and beat up. My tastes have changed and the yarn gave out. Plus, I need to make room. I tend to be a pack rat.  Smiley
