I stayed home with a sick child today (pink eye...yuck!), but I did manage to get some doll clothes made for the adorable doll I'm making for rlynn's daughter.  I'm using a Judi Ward pattern for the first time and I just love it.  I probably won't get this package sent out until Saturday, because I still have a few things to finish and I have to find a box to send it all out in.

so exciting!!!!! can't wait to see the doll!!!!

edited to add: Hmmm...I kind of made that seem that I thought it was exciting that you got to stay home with a sick child.  Sorry.  I got all caught up in doll and my mind went with that!  Hope the pink eye clears up fast.  That stuff is no fun!

If it makes you feel better, I would've claimed you but until this swap is over I am limited to just one.  Which is probably best considering I am trying to finish my dang thesis, work, and take care of my daughter...oh and occasionally clean my house.  But yeah...I think it might be less you stalled it and more there aren't many people in this round and a few are limited to only 1 claim.  I do have a question, once this swap round is over and all my packages are received, do I get more claims?  And how many?  3, because I am a FOC? Is that right?  Hmm...I might have to force myself to just chose one...because I want to join OWS as well next round and I really do need to finish writing my thesis.  Poo. Responsibility sucks.  Heh!  Smiley

Nice package!  Hmm...that kind of sounds dirty to me  heh.  yes, i'm a geek.

*ahem* but in all seriousness, i love the cape and the ispy bags...are those blue pellets.  i like the added flash of color!  nice!

so i have a question...i ordered some supplies from sisters and daughters.  uhm...did i miss a memo and they went out of business or something because that was over a month ago and i haven't heard from them or seen my box of goodies.  i've emailed them twice but no dice.  they didn't charge me so i'm not concerned about that but there were some essential stuff in that order that i need to make my...*ahem* i mean Aria's poppet.

poo.  i guess i'll shop somewhere else.  dangit.

this is quite beautiful!  I can't tell...did you paint the design onto fabric?  Either way, totally awesome.

I'm going to share a secret with you. Invisible thread. If you make sure all your knots are on the inside and use small stitches you'd never know it's there. I like the coats and clark stuff from walmart in the thinner thickness. Works great!

Thanks!  I am going to pick some up before I start on the poppet.  I wonder why I never thought of it before...I knew it existed.

haha!  Thanks, lil_abi!  She's so cute, it'll be hard to wrap her up and send her to her new home.  The ribbon does a great job of hiding my shoddy stitching...her head is on nice and tight but the seam is a little crooked and a few stitches are visible but nobody will ever know.  mwhahahaha... Tongue thanks again for such a quick and fairly easy project.  I've been trying to work up my nerve to make a poppet.  this has definitely been a confidence builder!

Alwaysinspired, yeah, i put several stitches in the ribbon to keep it in place.  I figured I wanted that sucker to stay put!
