I finally painted the kitchen it was a mushroom color now i want to paint the cabinets a shiny white and add black iron hardware but doing the cabinets has me a bit intimidated so it may be a while anyways thanks for looking

Sorry I dont have before pics.

found this cabinet door in the trash and snagged it

a few coats of paint for the background then I used an exacto to cut out the flower from a pierce of scrapbook paper.modpogged it on then painted the rest with acrylics.glied on the beads from a broken necjlace and voila.I love it.

p.s. I used the same wall paint from the wall behind it so in person it looks like part of the wall

So i Just recently started painting mostly to decorate our house as i cannot afford to buy artwork. I had alot of fun doing them.


I did a pair of these.they are the trees from the  Dr Suess book The Lorax

So I spotted this in a field as I was driving by and had to grab it.first I sanded it down really well.painted the frame with white latex paint.then the fun part was taping it off in random sections.the i just painted the blocks with acrylic paint.i still need to clean up the edges with a razor and hang it.im thinking of hanging it with black chains.

So I found this table in the trash and I was going to just refinish it but all the wood was really rotten and 2 of the legs were all messed up.so i took 2 of the the legs and made some candle sticks.i bought the wood discs for 59 cents each but that was all i spent.i think i might add polka dots but im not sure thanks for looking everyone

I reused some canvas i got at a garage sale.on the one top left you can the wonderful sunset showing through.i liked it that way so i didnt cover it up all the way.i like how they turned out and they were alot of fun.i normally do alot of furniture refurbishing and crafts but never paintings.i would love any comments good or bad  thanks for looking guys

I saw this weird little crate thing on the curb and grabbed it.one side was broken so I took that part off moved a few of the peices around nailed it together to make it more secure.then digging around in our shed found a piece of mdf the perfect size.i sanded  it down and broke out the paint and painters tape and made it a top for my new table.voila
I still have to seal it but for a freebie im pretty happy with it
