I'm in the process of putting together a quilt as you go quilt right now, but while I'm working on it, I thought it would be fun to start a discussion on here.

I'm finding that each part of the quilting process has it's perks and annoyances - what do you like best about quilting? What's your favorite part of the process?
Why?

Since I'm still a beginner (working on my first twin-ish sized quilt), I find that I like sewing the blocks together, as well as the quilt top, but the actual quilting annoys me. Unless I'm tie quilting. Then I love it! lol.
