2  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Discussion and Questions / Image Transfer to Clay question on: November 13, 2013 08:19:17 AM
I have seen 2 different methods online how to transfer printed images to polymer clay, but that is not what I want.  What I really want is I could swear I saw in craft stores all along through last year, that there was this special clay that is especially made for inkjet image transfer.  NOW I go in craft stores, nobody at all knows what I am talking about & they claim that such a clay had never existed.  I know I saw it.  Am I crazy?  Can anyone help me out here?  Does anyone know what I am talking about?  What is this clay & where may I get it now?  Thanks.
3  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Discussion and Questions / Homemade paints? on: November 07, 2008 10:22:02 AM
Just curious: I once heard that there is a way to make homemade paints out of plants, like grass, dandelions, daisies, other flowers, weeds, etc.  Does anyone know how that is done?  I just want to know what it entails.  Thank you very much.
4  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / My own vcr tape purse on: January 20, 2008 10:23:10 AM
Here is my own vcr tape purse.  I got the idea of this clutch bag from Recycle Cindy's crocheted clutch.  I just knit a rectangle in garter stitch, slip stitched the sides together, and made a double crochet scalloped border on the flap.  There are a few chain stitches separating the center flap to use as a buttonhole.  In the 1st picture I stuffed some white paper towels in it to try to show it up better.  (Actually, my mom helped me w/ the crocheting part & putting it together!)
