I'm new, well new as in I've lurked a bit, posted a couple of times,and now want to say hi!

I'm a SAHM of two boys, 3 and nearly 2. We have two dogs and two cats.

As for art/craft related me info...

I paint, acrylic abstract florals
I make wire and bead jewelry
I dabble in photography and I'm now learning to needle/wet felt.

I was mother earth for halloween when I was pregnant.

I took a skin toned leotard and painted the portion that would be on my belly to look like the earth. Then I made a set of wings from wire, wheat, feathers, moss, fake leaves and faux fur as the straps. I also painted the pantyhose I stretched over the wires as a base.

Then I found a funky natural print skirt and some Grecian sandals and put a small garland of leaves in my hair. I also threw a little fake birds nest in my hair for a lil extra touch.

Got second in a costume contest was fun.
