1  Lemon Party - Somewhat NSFW in Machine Embroidery: Completed Projects by give-quiche-a-chance on: August 24, 2010 02:06:24 AM
In a vain attempt to scrub the original lemon party image from my mind (DO NOT search for it if you've never see it!! Once you see it you cant unsee it!) and to test out my new embroidery machine I created this cute little embroidery.

It used Brother PE lite to digitize the design which turned out pretty messy (and noisy to embroider), can anybody recommend an easy to use, inexpensive digitizing software?

C & C always welcome.

4  Transformers Oven Mitt in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by give-quiche-a-chance on: November 20, 2008 02:43:30 PM
My boyfriend loves cooking & baking so i decided to make him an oven mitt out of an old transformers t-shirt (that I decided to cut up ages ago but never got round to actually doing anything with it!!)

I used bog standard wadding and just quilted around the design, I didn't have any heat-resistant fabric so I used leather Undecided amazingly it works Smiley My bf managed to get it covered in flour and icing, I thought it was ruined but it survived the washing machine & tumble-drier!

I got the idea for the mitt shape from -
