I made this hat for my son today! We needed a photo for our december page in our family calendar, so i thought a cute hat would be a good idea for the photo! I can't remeber how i did it, but it's just hdc and sc. thanks for looking!
yeah i used 2 strands of wool together as well (both worset weight, one fuzzy) and the reccomended hook and they were HUGE! i am a narrow 7, so i took them apart and have started my own pattern.... kind of based on the photos in the book.
thanks! the sleeve were super easy. i jst made them according to the pattern, only a bit longer and without the border, then crocetted a seperate pece of ribbed single crochet and attached it to the botom of the sleeve and it gathered it!
So this is my version of the frou frou sweater from the happy hooker book. I made closures for it instead of having it wrap and I changed the sleeves! I like it a lot!
These are some toilet roll covers that i made a while ago! I saw the california roll online, so decided to free hand it and ended up expanding the selection! Enjoy!
