1  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Discussion and Questions / dress with zipper question on: October 18, 2007 01:02:42 PM
I want to make a dress out of a pillowcase for a little girl but I want a bodice instead of the ribbon I have seen on the boards here. I hate zippers but can't find a bodice pattern without using a zipper to use for the top of the dress. Is it okay to not use a zipper and just sew one piece for the back or will it be too small? any suggestions. Thanks.
2  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Country ornament help needed on: October 18, 2007 12:49:26 PM
I am donating a decorated Christmas tree to raise money for Children's Hospital. My theme is "country elegance". I am making ornaments out of old quilts like birds, snowmwne, angels, hearts but I need some variety. Doe sanyone have any ideas. I want something different that has not been overdone and is not all frilly. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks,
