Hello all. I am new(ish) to fusing - been doing it for a couple months now...and I think I have found my new obsession!
I found a women selling her fusing studio (Kiln, glass, accessories) on Craigslist for a really good price - I figured it must be meant to be (see, I live in Maine - and the likelihood that someone would be selling this so close to me is unheard of). The kiln is not huge, but can fit a good number of pendants in it at a time - it doesn't have a digital thingy - but that's ok. I have found it forces me to attend to the kiln and learn what is actually going on at certain temps.
Anywho - I am hoping to post here more and more...I am kinda jumping over from the clothing forum (I also sew quite a bit). I look foward to sharing more stuff as I get a bit more brave with my designs
Here are a few in Pink that I think have come out nicely...Thanks!
(I should mention that all the pendants can come off the stainless cable they are on - and shown with. I created the "channel" for the cord to go thru with a piece of fiber paper between the layers of glass prior to fusing).http://i240.photobucket.com/albums/ff186/magpie0816/longpinkblack_2.jpg
