I got this tutorial http://plumtickled.typepad.com/plumtickled/2007/08/tutu-tutorial-t.html while looking through one of my favourite blogs.  I adapted it a wee bit, but they are so easy to make, almost addictive!!

I just made this tutu for my friends baby girl who will be turning 1 in a few weeks.  I don't know her measurements, so just winged it, but I think the waist might be a bit big...she can always wear it in another year or so.

heres what im thinking, but Im not really sure if it'd work...you could try on an old jersey or something first.  You could transfer your image onto water soluble fabric stuff (it is like a fabric/mesh/paper thing that dissloves when wet), pin or tack it to your item, then embroider...then wet and the paper/fabric thing should disappear. 

Does this make sense??  Can anyone else who knows what I am on about, but can write clearer instructions add to this??

First of all, thunderlora, how do you take such good photos??  I try taking closeups and they become all blurry...Im sure there is an obvious answer to this.

ANYWAY.  I opened my pressie from Livmcc (with the help of my paper-loving baby) and got....cute knitted wool chocolate bar in its own knitted wrapper, and some little magnets (same style that thunder got but diff pictures).  I have been wanting to make some of these for ages, and now I think I will, to join the little magnets that liv made me.  Thanks Livmcc!!!!
