It's been a while since I got to sit down and make something for myself (besides the quilt I needed for school) so when my roommate forced me to go to the Woodie Awards I thought I'd take the opportunity.  Probably not my best work (in fact it's actually pretty wonky) but I did it really quickly the night before. I'm in love with the fabric!

Hi there! Quick question...

My friend dropped off a pair of jeans that I'd offered to fix. There's a hole in the crotch area that normally I was just use an iron on denim patch for. However it's just a BIT too big to patch entirely. What's the best hand sewing stitch to use to close it a bit more so that I can use the patch?

I LOOOVVVEEE that Buddha necklace. Makes my store-bought, buddha keychain look lame, lame, lame.  I just checked and I should be getting my package today. It's like hippy christmas. 

I'm sure a lot of us are starting/in college. I can't organize... but I think it'd be fun to do a swap for all things college. Dorm stuff, school supplies, etc etc... Of course, I imagine it's a little late if we want to get it done before the start of Fall Semester, but I think it'd still be fun!  Any takers?!
