31  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / Recoating and epoxy and sadness. on: October 18, 2007 09:11:39 AM
If you're using epoxy resin to *coat* a piece and it does not fully cure, can you recoat it with no problems if the second coat cures?

I absolutely cannot figure out why my pieces aren't curing. I measure everything exactly, and I stir and mix exactly like it says. Sometimes they cure, sometimes they don't. I haven't had problems with it until recently. Since my first soft coating attempt I have spent $120.00 on resin supplies. Yeah.

None of them are curing properly. Well, I won't say none. I'll say 1/4 of everything I do turns out nice.
32  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / This is what a bitch looks like. on: October 17, 2007 03:30:35 PM
This cracks me up. I've been seeing the feminist tees everywhere and I was inspired to alter the phrase a little bit just because. I am not saying feminists are bitchy, at least not by default. I am. But that's all I'm saying.

Excuse the photos, they're a tad gray/grainy. Sorries! Super duper glossy resin on top. I like how it kind of sparkled in one picture. Very shiny in real life.
33  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Craftster Itself / Cannot access my original account on: October 16, 2007 09:09:14 PM
Hi! I've been a member here since '03. I've had three different accounts, including this new one here.

My last account is one I was hoping to keep active, but somehow I managed to get signed off of craftster and I have no idea what my password is. The email address I registered with has probably been inactive for at least a year, and I don't know that password either. Same thing happened with my very first account.

Is there any other way/some person I can contact about accessing my other account? Just out of luck?

P.S. - I used to be miserylovesme, in case you knew me by that name! Can't post pics yet.  Sad
