Thanks for the love, everyone! There's just something about independent validation that makes a girl blush

My boyfriend is a fan of Skyrim, so for Valentine's day I made him a card with the central theme of taking arrows to knees. The card itself was made up of pictures of me holding written signs; for the last panel, I put the below picture of me wearing an [edit:] iron helmet that I  made. A few sheets of fun foam, a roll of masking tape, papier mache, and 6 solid evenings of work brought me this
If I'd had more time, I would have fixed the nose guard (tapered at the end, instead of straight), and made the horns curlier and more textured. Alas, that's something to think about for next time.

You said you're not keen on makeup on your body--does that mean you're ok with wearing it on your face? If the answer is yes: dress up as a dia de los muertos skeleton! Doesn't require any fancy costume (maybe a black dress, with some black lace?), throw a flower in your hair, get your skeleton face on, and you're ready to rock and roll

Related: are there any craft/fabric stores in town (besides Michael's and Fabricland)? Not to say they've treated me poorly, but it's nice to see some of the things that indie stores carry

Hello fellow craftsters!

My sister is getting married in Marlborough, and needs to get some nice cardstock to print programs. We're travelling in from Canada and she doesn't want to bring the extra weight in her luggage on the plane.

If anyone could give some recommendations as to where we could pick up some nice cardstock in Wiltshire (or London), I would really appreciate it.
