Not sure yet but we have friends who are expecting one of each so if I make either sex and we end up not needing it then we can give it to either of them.

I am going to try to join. Sending in my pm, this will be my first swap, I think I am able to join.

I have read books and I can sew but mostly blankets. I have only made on shirt and it was a simple tube shirt with shirring.

Other than that I have never made anything with real shape to it.

Is it best to just buy a simple pattern and sit down and start? Is this how most people got started?

I am expecting and I have TONS of fabric and I need to not only use that fabirc to make room for baby but I would love for him/her to have a nice set of mom made outfits.

Ok, so I am sure you can relate to being a bit absent minded sometimes. Kids will do that to you, right?

Well I was making some bows and I had a needle with some white thread on it. I was sitting here at the desk while the kids were asleep. YEAH for nap time.

Well I got a knock at the door and left the bow mess behind when I came back I picked everything up and put it away. But I cannot for the life of me find the needle and thread.

Now it could be that I picked it up and put it someplace and just cannot find the dang thing. Or if could be that it was snagged to something else I put away and fell on the floor. Or is lost on the desk.

I do not have one of those wonderful pin magnetic things.

Can you please help me find this freaking needle and thread. I have kids running around and I do not want them to find it in the bottom of their foot. I have locked them out of this room but I know they will rip the door down any minute.

Do you think if I just ran the vac over the area that it would pick it up without breaking the dang machine?

HELP! Please.
