1  Irish print pj pants for hubby in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by maddiemoos on: February 16, 2008 11:06:32 PM
Being pretty new to sewing I of course decided to make clothing for someone other than me, lol! Wink Pj pants were one of the easiest things I could think of, so my hubby got a new pair! Cheesy  I made them from an Irish print cotton fabric (you can see a bit of his red beard in one of the pics).  The pattern was simplicity, but I don't remember the number.  Not too happy with it because it is a bit too low rise for a guy, IMHO.  Oh well, he loves me so he is wearing them! Grin (even let me get a couple of pics!)

The cuff is actually the same on both pant legs, just bunched in pic.

This kinda shows the print better, can't get the fabric closeup pic to load Tongue

2  Shell and hemp anklet and necklace in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by maddiemoos on: January 30, 2008 08:04:49 PM
I made these last weekend after a long break from macrame.  I used curly mop shells for the anklet. For the necklace I used some shell nugget beads and a cool sliced shell pendant. The findings are silver plated.  Thanks for looking, please let me kow what you think.   Grin Thanks (oh, and sorry for the less than perfect pics Tongue)

3  my first tote! in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by maddiemoos on: January 28, 2008 08:48:58 PM
Hi, I have been lurking on this site for a while and am just now posting!  Shocked I began crafting (again) recently, with some inspiration from my awesomely talented little sis. Grin Sorry for rattling on; I made it by looking at a bag I got from the humane society, I found out the style is a Jordy bag.  It is lined, and has a cool (lined) pocket for water, keys, etc.  My new school tote!  Let me know what you think. Smiley Side note: this is like the third thing that I have sewed in my life, ever! Thanks  Wink

Sorry for the poor quality pics, learning how to use my new camera Wink
