4  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Felt Cupcakes on: May 10, 2010 04:24:35 PM
I have been dying to make some felt cupcake magnets but I'm having a little trouble figuring out how to construct them. Would you blanket stitch the front part of the frosting to the cpucake then blanket stitch the front part of the cupcake to the paper wrapper then blanket stitch the whole thing together? or do you blanket stitch the frosting by itself then blanket stitch the cupcake then glue them to the wrapper and then blanket stitch the wrapper? Idk if that makes sense. I just dont know what to do... Any help? Thanx in advance.

7  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Discussion and Questions / Re: Blanket help.. on: March 23, 2010 02:58:57 PM
I had originally planned to do a blanket stitch but the lady at Joannes made a face about it when I asked her about it (I'm still a beginner).

So then a blanket stitch would work. It would definately be easier.

If it was between the blanket stitch and the satin blanket binding what would you rather recieve?

Not sure exactly where this goes. I thought 'quilt' but its not a quilt...so mods please feel free to move me wherever I belong. Thanx!

Anyways.. I'm making a baby blanket for my SIL baby shower. I got Ga Tech fleece fabric and wanted to just do a simple blanket out of it. I bought some blanket binding also. What stitch would be the best to use when sewing it on?

What exactly does the clear sealer do that the mod podge gloss doesnt do?

I'm just trying to figure out if I really need that to complete this project. I'm doing my SIL's babys name, Tatum,  for her baby shower next saturday.
