1  Archive of Past Craftster Challenge Entries / CHALLENGE 28 ENTRIES / Girlie, flower chair on: June 05, 2008 08:58:37 PM
So I have been wanting to enter a challange but something would always come up.  And for a moment there I didn't think I was going to be able to enter this one either! But I just barely am going to make it!

Background on the chair: I used to work for the girl scouts and they where cleaning and getting rid of a bunch of things which included this chair.  I knew I wanted to do something cool but wasn't sure at the time.  Then I found this great fabric at Joann's (Which sadly enough I have never been able to find again  Sad  tear...) but I was at least able to get this great chair! I also added a cushin so it's really comfortable too!

2  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Mod Podge is my new obsession!! (image heavy!) on: November 19, 2007 11:31:40 AM
Ok so from lurking around here I decided to buy some mod podge and take advantage of the free week (yay for having a week off from school for thanksgiving!) and make some stuff.  Well lets just say now i'm obsessed with this stuff!!  I had so much fun! So here are three projects that I did over the weekend.  I'm gonna try to make some of the Christmas presents this year for my family and friends, so this is great!

The first one is of just a box.  The box was just a plain ol cardboard box that you can buy from the craft section in wal-mart.
This is for my friend kristen because she likes old pin up girl art.

(Sorry I forgot to take a picture before I painted it , I was too excited!!)

This one is a mirror for my friend Adriana, I actually bought this paper for scrapbooking but I really like how it came out with the shape of the mirror.

I actually had to cut out the middle with a knife

And this is a box for my brothers step-daughter (my step-neice?),  she's 10 so she's getting into the make up and girlie stuff so i'm going to put a journal and pen (pink of course) and some lip glosses.

I think it's a little plain though, any suggestions?

Thanks for looking, I know it was a lot!
3  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Simple jewelery holder on: November 07, 2007 11:03:01 AM
So I actually posted this as a comment but i'm soooo excited I decided to post it here.

So I saw the yard stick shelf idea and though it was so cool.  And i've been looking for a way to display my jewelry so that it would be easy to find, so I put two and two together and I got this.

The whole thing (action shot...ha...ha...)
