This is my package from Midnight Iris!

The tote with one of my favorite quotes from House and some magnets...I can always use magnets.

The other side of the tote with some shrinky dinks of the characters, also magnets.  Can you see the little heart and the I'm pretty?  Pretty neat!

a close-up of the shrinky dinks

laminated printouts - I'm using most of them for bookmarks in my spring repairs book and one is taped to the top of my monitor.

Thank you!  This was great Smiley

I know I've received my package from A2K already, but she just sent the one last item that didn't make it. One of my quotes was the NH state motto "Live Free or Die".  I love this!!

It has the Old Man of the Mountain quarter made into a pendant (the old man has since fallen off the mountain, I know, sad).  The background has been cut out.  Hubby loves it and I think I need to keep an eye on it.  I'll wear this to work tomorrow for sure.

thank you A2K for such a great swap package Smiley

I received from A2K today!  It was pouring rain, so the postman crammed the package in my box so it stayed dry.

Ummm...where do I start!

This pouch is cute... I put my chapstick and other floater stuff from my purse in it already Smiley
It had two items:
A Lamborghini keychain - quote was "It's not having what you want, it's wanting what you've got" by Sheryl Crowe
The second is a toy that my three year old has confiscated - quote was "You are as young as you think you are"

I've seen these and never though to make one.. a cd jewel case calendar holder!
The photos are awsome and the quotes used are from the Wizards First Rule sci fi books...theres alot of the rules and she put one on each month.
I love this!! - the one in the pic is my favorite photo!

Most of the months

This bag is uber soft!  It was knitted and felted...the lining is gorgeous too Smiley
It is supposed to the the carpet bag from Mary Poppins (A carpet bag, as in made from).  I loove that movie!

Thank you for all the gifts Smiley  She said in a note there will be another small one sent afterwards, I'll update my post when I receive it!

16  Puzzle bracelets!! in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by TracyInNH on: April 04, 2009 06:10:16 AM
Not long ago someone posted a puzzle bracelet that they've made (Please PM me and I will give you credit!!).  On a recent swap my partner said she loved it...so I gave it a go and now I'm hooked!

This one was for the House Swap...photos of the main people with medical terms also...used Mod Podge to adhere to pieces.

another one I've done:

I colored the back of the pieces to match the flower pictures on the front and put seed beeds on the jump rings for more color.

17  Alice in Wonderland note board! in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by TracyInNH on: April 04, 2009 06:06:24 AM
Hello!  This was for a swap, and thankfully she loved it Smiley  Her favorite quote was from the Queen of Hearts in Alice in Wonderland...  "Sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast!"  Sooo, I made a write on board so she can fill in her own six things.  Used a sharpie to draw on the queen and quote.

**I wasn't sure where to put this, so move it to misc. if it should be there instead!

18  Do Unto Others embroidery in Needlework: Completed Projects by TracyInNH on: April 04, 2009 06:02:46 AM
My partner received and I am excited about how this came out...making one for myself but haven't decided on what quote to use:

I used seed beeds at the end of the branches so I took the glass out of the frame.  The borders are done with some quilt fabric scraps I had.

Enjoy!

19  Re: Book Lovers Swap 2 [Send Out Apr 18] PARTNERS ASSIGNED! in ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED by TracyInNH on: March 16, 2009 01:03:09 PM
Unfortunately, this is how I store my paperbacks...

Excuse the yuckiness... this is the hallway leading to the cellar and takes alot of abuse.  This is my sci-fi corner, but I just noticed some old VC Andrews mixed in there too.  I have a couple of corners like this in the house.

I received from Wyked! I actually received I think two days ago, but my life's been nuts Smiley

Ta Da.....

My whole enchilada.  I love the brown knit (or crochet?) bag.  It was fun, each bag had a bag/pouch inside so I just kept opening!
The little fang dude was cute, and the cats stole him and the knit candy piece.  The bracelet is perfectly my colors, and it is her first one she made ever!  Next to the bracelet is a little red pouch with the coolest charms from my Wists!  I've got pics of the charms and bracelet:

Thank you Wyked!!
