141  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Purple Weeble Wobble Bunny with "stained glass" looking super cool fabric on: February 09, 2008 08:20:12 AM
I had been saving this scrap of fabric for atleast 5 years, I love it! So I thought, it would make a cool bunny! I love how it turned out and I improvised on the tail, basically I cut strips of fleece and tied them together, I think the tail is pretty cool! Let me know what you think! Sorry the one pic is blurry it is 1 am and there is no light to speak of!

142  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Precious Girly Easter Bunny (she's cute & sweet) on: February 08, 2008 06:26:26 AM
Here is another bunny I have finished. I am going bunny crazy for Easter! Smiley I love that she is wearing a dress and I was thinking I needed 2 hair bows, one on each side , but the more I look at her, the more I think she looks better with just the one! I think I will name her Tallulah! Let me know what you think! Grin

143  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Bunny Photos Warhol-d Super Cool on: February 06, 2008 05:08:42 AM
So, I was playing around with my photo enhancing software and I came up with these. I was thinking of printing them out and framing them together, or seperately, but hanging them all together... I just think they look super sweet!
Let me know what you think!

144  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Bunny no mouth, cute and fairly big on: February 06, 2008 05:01:14 AM
This turned out really big, I was impressed with it's size. It is cute and perfect for an easter gift! It was from a pattern called Lavendar Bunny.

145  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Blue's Clues Handy Dandy Notebook on: January 31, 2008 04:35:12 PM
So, we are stationed overseas in Okinawa (my husband is in the airforce). And they only play the old Blue's Clues episodes on our tv channels, you know the one's with Steve.... So my daughter LOVES it and I was trying to find her a handy dandy notebook. My son had one when he was younger, it is an exact replica of Steve's and you can write your clue's in it. Anyway, they don't make the old ones anymore, they only make the new ones with Joe. And if you find an older one it will cost $20 or more, just for one little plastic toy! I am NOT paying that much for a plactic notebook the size of an assignment pad. So I set out to create one for her. I sewed green fabric with batting in between to create the notebook. I used fusible web to iron on a flannel red thinking chair and then outlined the chair in black paint. I made a pocket in the notebook just big enough to hold the small pads of paper that I picked up at the 100 Yen store. And I also bought chunky crayons at the 100 Yen store and printed out the green striped paper and used a glue stick to glue it on. The paint was kind of watery and it made me mad cause it doesn't look perfect, but she won't notice, plus I can always make more!:)

146  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Cute Bunny Amigurumi. Adorable! on: January 22, 2008 06:05:16 AM
So, this is my 3rd amigurumi and I think it is soooooooo cute! The stitches are a tad loose in the belly area which results in being able to see some of the stuffing, but I was too tired to redo the body. This one was a little bit of a pain only because you have to make an arm, then tie off, make another arm, etc. I would prefer not to have to assemble a bunch of pieces at the end, but I will definitely make another one, just cause it is so cute! I used a heart button for the nose.
Thanks for looking!

147  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / My first purse with a zipper Awesome fabric on: January 21, 2008 07:08:33 AM
Okay, so I used this tutorial to make my purse.
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=76577.0
I was really bummed today cause my "precious" hello kitty purse had started to fall apart and I needed a new purse. Then I thought, I KNOW I can make one, (somehow). Smiley
So I rifled through my messy messy closet of fabric and found this. I have been saving this fabric to use for something for ME. (I never make anything for me, so it has been in there awhile). And the tutorial was really helpful, this was first attempt at a zipper and this made it so easy. I am such nerd, I had no idea which was my zipper foot, so I had to look online and compare all of my "feet" until I found it! But I had fun making it and I can't wait until tomorrow so I can use it!!! Oh, and the zipper pull came from a Japanese vending (bubble) machine, my son didn't want it and it matched my fabric perfectly! Lucky 4 me! Cheesy
Let me know what you think! And thanks for looking!

148  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Felty/Stuffy kitty goodness on: January 20, 2008 05:44:07 PM
So, I have seen so many cute and totally cool stuffy/felties on here and I was inspired! I made a weird kitty and a bikini wearing kitty. Both are felt and bikini kitty I had already decided needed a tattoo in her butt of a heart, so I had to work around that for the back of her bikini bottom, but I think it looks pretty cool! Let me know what you think.
All pieces are hand stitched except the shape of the body, which I had inside out and then used my sewing machine.
The last pic is all 5 of my creations, I finished them all at the same time, the ninja bunnies were from a previous post by toque, I just had to make some for my kids! Smiley
Thanks for looking!

149  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Ninja Bunnies on: January 20, 2008 05:36:04 PM
All credit for this design goes to toque, I showed my kids her ninja bunny and they each wanted one, so I drew him out and and voila, 3 ninja bunnies for my 3 kids! Smiley Here is the link to her original...

Here are my bunnies inspired by toque! Thank you toque!

I like all 3 of them together, they are a ninja "gang" or whatever you call a group of ninjas!  Wink
150  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Octopus Amigurumi on: January 18, 2008 07:30:33 AM
Okay, so I am becoming addicted to amigurumi! They are so cute and the small ones work up really fast. I have to admit being a beginner to crocheting the patterns took me awhile to figure out increase and decrease, but I am slowly getting the hang of it! Okay enough of my rambling, here is Pinky the Octopus...
