So, I have seen so many cute and totally cool stuffy/felties on here and I was inspired! I made a weird kitty and a bikini wearing kitty. Both are felt and bikini kitty I had already decided needed a tattoo in her butt of a heart, so I had to work around that for the back of her bikini bottom, but I think it looks pretty cool! Let me know what you think. All pieces are hand stitched except the shape of the body, which I had inside out and then used my sewing machine. The last pic is all 5 of my creations, I finished them all at the same time, the ninja bunnies were from a previous post by toque, I just had to make some for my kids! Thanks for looking!
All credit for this design goes to toque, I showed my kids her ninja bunny and they each wanted one, so I drew him out and and voila, 3 ninja bunnies for my 3 kids! Here is the link to her original... http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=160746.0
Here are my bunnies inspired by toque! Thank you toque!
I like all 3 of them together, they are a ninja "gang" or whatever you call a group of ninjas!
OMG, my sister needs one of these! She and her bf always buy fake moustaches and wear them around town and take pics all over in them! Great job! I love it!
Okay, so I am becoming addicted to amigurumi! They are so cute and the small ones work up really fast. I have to admit being a beginner to crocheting the patterns took me awhile to figure out increase and decrease, but I am slowly getting the hang of it! Okay enough of my rambling, here is Pinky the Octopus...
I used a granny ripple pattern that my crochet teacher xeroxed from some book, but I altered it, and cut out half of the pattern because I preferred the ripple part and not the part with the huge gaps. I used some red heart yarn and some cream (very soft) Japanese yarn, I have no idea what kind it is since the packaging was all written in kanji. We are stationed in Okinawa and I love to shop at the local craft stores. All of their yarn is SUPER soft and easy to work with!
Thanks for the kind words. I didn't use a pattern. I did sew the 2 pieces of fabric seperately down 1 side, then down the other leaving the top open and then sewed across the 2 bottom corners. When you sew across the bottom corners and then snip off the extra fabric (it is shaped like a triangle), it leaved the bottom of the bag with squared corners. Once I did this to both fabrics. I placed the sesame fabric inside the fish fabric . I made the handles from yellow cotton fabric and sewed that like a casing around nylon straps. Then you must insert and pin the handles between the 2 fabrics and fold both fabrioc top edges over and then stitch around the entire top edge of the bag and then it is done. Sorry if this is confusing, I don't have pics of it as it is being made and it is kind of difficult to explain without showing it. Maybe someday I will get around to a tutorial... Thanks for looking!
These are 2 rooms I painted for my friend's sister's kids! One is all dinosaurs and the other was the solar system with glow in the dark stars and comets.
I made this quilt for my daughter before she was born with pink, yellow and rainbow ladybug fabrics. It was my 1st attempt at the triangle edging. I love it! Thanks for looking!
I saw somewhere on here that someone had made a monkey ipod cozy, so of course I had to have one, cause i love monkeys! I made her pink cause I love pink, I had tried to follow the pattern that was posted but the ears were WAY too big, so I modified it & I also made her winking. So here is my monkey Ipod cozy. I have named her Spunky (da monkey) .
