2  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions / Is there a beginner's messenger bag tutorial???? on: August 23, 2004 09:30:06 AM
Huh I'm a beginner "handbag" maker and I would like to make myself a messenger/laptop bag but I wouldn't begin to know how to start.  I know it's going to take a while seeing as my sewing machine is on the fritz and i have to hand sew everything Cry But is there a not to complicated tutorial on messenger bag making? Also i was wondering how to out a pocket into a purse i've seen many examples of purses with one but no explination how to make one! Thanx in advance! Grin
3  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / I made my first 2 jordy bags...PICTURES ARE HERE!!! on: August 21, 2004 06:28:54 PM
Grin This is my first post.  I made my first jordy bag 2 days ago.  I will try to get a picture of it up sometime soon.  It is denim with velvet leopard print spots on the outside and fuzzy pink leopard print on the inside.  I also started making a reversible jordy bag (one without the velcro closure) that is black fleece and pink leopard print!  I sewed them by hand so they don't look as good as they should but I'm carrying the first one I made and have gotten many compliments.  Thanks for the tutorial jordy!!!
