I made a big post about my Loaf Creatures (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=424289.msg5045797#msg5045797) a bit ago, and I haven't been able to stop since then!  Here are some of my newest loaf creatures, big and small!

6  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Oh my Glob, Lumpy Space Princess hoops! on: July 25, 2013 05:27:46 PM

I've made a lot of Adventure Time hoops in the past, but never this many of just one character!  LSP had so many good quotes it was difficult to choose just one!
All done on 8 inch hoops.  Cotton fabric backing and felt details!

All together Cheesy

7  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Loaf creatures on: June 04, 2013 02:14:46 PM

These started out with me trying to figure out how to make toys more 3D, and the shape I came up with turned out to look a lot like a loaf of bread with little stubby arms.  I became obsessed with the shape and proceeded to make them in all different animal/made up animal breeds.

It all started with the Mooseloaf....

And then I made a Bearloaf for someone who loved bears

& Then I had to make a monster type loaf, which I named the Uniloaf

& Then I got a request to make a Corgiloaf!  Which I am obsessed with

And when I was almost out of the fabric I needed to make them, I decided to make mini versions of ones I had already made and new designs!

I have a Dragonloaf and Red Pandaloaf in the works!

8  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Star Wars Monsters on: May 11, 2013 12:58:55 PM

I'm obsessed with Star Wars and monsters so of course it was only a matter of time until I combined the two.  I made six of them! An Ewok, wookie, wampa, jawa, Yoda, and Boba Fett. Smiley

Hard to choose which one is my favorite.  Maybe Boba Fett. 'Cause it's Boba Fett.

Individual shots:

9  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / No, I said... 'Ello! on: May 11, 2013 12:42:57 PM

Made an appliqued embroidery hoop of the worm from the movie Labyrinth Smiley Saying 'Ello! of course.

Done on an 8 inch hoop, the worm is all felt.

Looks good on the wall. Smiley

And progress shot!

10  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Mooseloaf and Mooseslices on: January 17, 2013 12:37:52 PM

Sometimes if I'm not sure what to make, I just start cutting and adding stuff together to see what comes out.  This time, the Mooseloaf came out of it!  I named him that because it looks like a mix between a moose, and a loaf of bread.  With maybe a little baby seal in there.

About 6 inches tall
10 inches long
9 1/2 inch antlerspan

I had such a good reaction to the Mooseloaf that I decided to make Mooseslices, what it looks like when you take a slice of Mooseloaf!

& a progress shot!
