1  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Next! On Sick, Sad World on: August 28, 2015 01:10:25 PM
Wasn't quite sure which topic to post this one in since it's technically appliqued, but since I used the embroidery hoop as a frame I thought this was the best one. Smiley

Made a Daria themed hoop for fun the other day!  Super happy with how it came out.  Done on a 5 inch embroidery hoop with all felt. Smiley

2  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Cat insects! The Ladycat and Caterpillars on: August 25, 2015 07:43:11 PM
I love cats and I love bugs so one day I doodled a bunch of cat and bug hybrids and decided to make my favorite ones into the real thing!

The first one I made was inspired by the Parsleyworm!  Made with mostly fleece and felt, and little faux fur details.

And this one I was absolutely obsessed with the idea of little ladybug cats with tiny tails and multiple paws.  Made with mostly fleece.

And these I just finished last night, the Woolly Cat-erpillars!  Inspired by those fuzzy little striped caterpillars I'd find crawling around my backyard as a kid.  Mostly made of long pile faux fur with felt details. Smiley

3  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Cyclops babies! on: April 09, 2015 02:07:26 PM
If you ever wondered where cyclops came from, they started off as little babies like these!

About 5 1/2 inches tall
6 1/2 inches wide
Hand & machinesewn!

I made a big post about my Loaf Creatures (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=424289.msg5045797#msg5045797) a bit ago, and I haven't been able to stop since then!  Here are some of my newest loaf creatures, big and small!

10  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Oh my Glob, Lumpy Space Princess hoops! on: July 25, 2013 05:27:46 PM

I've made a lot of Adventure Time hoops in the past, but never this many of just one character!  LSP had so many good quotes it was difficult to choose just one!
All done on 8 inch hoops.  Cotton fabric backing and felt details!

All together Cheesy
