It's been awhile since I completed a new board, but finally I have done it!

I completed the paper reccon board:

I took all those half used composition notebooks that the kids bring home from school at the end of the year and turned them into travel notebooks for our cross country trip.

For those of you that may not know what notebooks I'm talking about here's a before pic:

I kept two sets of covers and all the unused pages. And added to that some calender pages from last year and a ribbon. After spending lots of quality time with a hole punch, and a sore hand later, the final product:

Love the crochet work!

First project of June is done. My hubby got me a DSI XL (bigger then reg DSI) for my birthday and being unable to find a case I liked I made one. Don't mind the lopsidedness, straight lines and I don't get along well, but I'm working on it!

All closed up outside:

And the inside:

I've been making fabric bowls over the past few days and after my first one, full of mistakes, I developed a new addiction. I made two more bowls and then "had" to make lots of coasters. And now I'm out of rope.  Wink

The learner bowl:

Two more things done, or at least caught up, since scrapbooking is always on going.

I updated my husband's Army life scrapbook, so now it's up to date. Two of the many pages:

And I started a "because I'm the mom" scrapbook of all the things my kids have given me over the years. Here's the first page:

Love the bath goodies! And the cupcake bag, really wishing I could knit or crochet, with out throwing everthing across the room after a few minutes, after seeing all the great work everyone on here has done.

I managed to finish two more things,  two stenciled shirts for my son
and two Rapunzel scarves, one is an Xmas present the second one was because my "darling" daughter just had to have one too!

I completed another project, so I think that puts me at three for this month, so far. I made a bunch of monsters, half are for family and the other half are for the toy society drops.

I have finally completed another board, toys,

I started out doing really good on this craftalong and then all my motivation for new things fizzled out. I really need to get back in gear if I going to complete it, since we wont have our household items for a month+ and then it will be about time to get motivated for Christmas.

I bought a bunch of furry and fuzzy fabrics a few months ago and finally decided to make some stuffed monsters with it. Since I don't embroider well unless it's on a flat surface (and if I embroider before I sew it never ends up in the middle), all the monsters have only eyes. Some of the fabric was really slippery and hard to work with and when I sewed it I must not have given it a wide enough seem allowance, since they stretched apart in the middle. Some things to work on and figure out before I try again. The ones that did come out I love and since all of these have homes I'll have to make more just so that I can keep one!
