I did exactly the same with one of my skirts and I love it. Yours is even better because it looks less as a skirt. I especially like the second picture version. I say go for it  Grin

I love your work, Joodito, I even tried to copy your signature collar on something I've made.
But what are these? Jackets? It would be really nice if you could take photos of the materials, because it's kind of impossible to see from the pictures. Are they lined? And where do you get these materials from?
