1  office pet frog!!! in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by scarlettholly on: January 14, 2008 02:13:45 PM
I thought that this little froggie would be great sitting in my office at work telepathising infinite wisdom. or at least provide a talking point and distraction from getting work done. my boyf thinks that the pink cheeks make him seem a little, well, not interested in the female frogs in the pond / office

3  swearing monster team! in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by scarlettholly on: January 01, 2008 11:40:41 AM
I've now become a bit addicted to making swearing monsters. I call the blobs my amoebas, and think they are v cute. My very many boyfriend has become rather attached to them, and styled them playing cards together..  Wink

4  amigurumi matryoska dolls in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by scarlettholly on: December 28, 2007 03:23:04 PM
I have the shortest attention span, so these dolls are perfect as they only take a teeny amount of time to whip up. as usual, faces are the hardest part (why do I find them so difficult?). Oh and since I didn't have a pattern, I kinda messed up the turquoise one and gave her too much xmas turkey Wink

5  lester the elephant in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by scarlettholly on: December 23, 2007 02:57:14 PM
I made this cutie from a japanese amigurumi book I bought. I didn't realise that it was going to be so big though (no sense of scale me!) until a little bit in, and had to make some resizing adjustments because I wanted him small and cute. Next I'll be making him a girlfriend. And then kids.... I spy a holiday week of elephant making!

6  my first monster swears!! in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by scarlettholly on: December 23, 2007 02:51:22 PM
This is my first real plushie (as you can probably tell!) and for some reason, I decided he was the swearing type. Okay, I know it's not big or clever, but it is kinda funny, no??

7  Re: soft trees. (complete w/ photos) in Winter Holidays by scarlettholly on: November 14, 2007 03:03:51 PM
I made soft trees too!! The embroidery came from a japanese craft mag.

They took longer than I thought (I don't have a sewing machine, which slows me down no end!), and next time I think I'll make taller skinnier ones. But these are still pretty cute (in my opinion!)

8  Christmas Snowmen in Winter Holidays by scarlettholly on: November 10, 2007 08:45:47 AM
Hi everyone,

I just recently learned to crochet, but I love it so much, and I thought some cute little snowmen dotted around the house would look really sweet. I kinda made the pattern up as I went along, hence they are all different sizes - doh!

love to hear your thoughts!!
