Haha, no I think they would just be trained to sit down next to it. The poor things.

Now I am imagining the pictures the police would take for the court case with the kinder egg laid out next to a tape measure and the toy dismantled into little pieces...Ah I need to stop posting early in the morning and late at night!

Gothicmidnight, you can go on the royal mail website and they have a list of prohibited items on there somewhere. That answers the question of what you can send via royal mail but I presume that the US postal system will have a similar list you can refer to. The UK one is basically nothing living or dead, fresh fruits/ seeds, explosives, flammable liquids.

Ok I caved today and bought some ribbon for this swap! It's fairly neutral so if my partner hates ribbon I can use it for another project, but it looked so yummy I couldn't walk past it Wink

Thanks everyone for the kind comments! I gave the gift yesterday and my Mum was thrilled, so I'm happy. I asked her today if she had filled it on though and she says she wants to draft each book so she doesn't mess it up! So it could be a while before it's really totally completed...Smiley
I find lots of board books from travelling sales men that come to the office at work, they have great little sets like this so they're worth looking out for.
