271  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Re: Newbies Only Round 9??! on: March 30, 2008 04:16:54 AM
This sounds good..... I think I would be up for it. I've done lots of wandering around.... I've been a member for long enough. But not enough posts yet. I think I better not be so shy.!

What kind of things would be crafted for this swap...? Or is it just anything?

Sounds interesting.!
272  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Re: Cherry Blossom Artwork on: March 30, 2008 01:34:13 AM
This looks really good. I like it a lot.

The blossoms look good. The only thing I could think of adding would be some blossoms dropping down from the branch.... I think that will either add to it or take away too much. A bit too hit and miss for me. I'd leave it how it is Smiley

Yes yes.! Mulberry paper would look awesome.

I thoroughly recommend looking in a scrap booking store.! Maybe one that specializes in natural fiber paper. I could see some of those working amazingly.!

Wow. This is so inspiring. I can imagine larger versions of these hanging from peoples ceilings

Wow. This is crazy Awesome. I'm so impressed.......!

Did you have a hard time cutting the pieces to the same angle?
Or was it all pretty easy?

Loving it.

Way impressed. I can't believe how awesome these look. Way to go.!

Possibly definitely going to steal this idea.... But maybe with some other characters too.!
276  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Re: Heat-Resistant Hair-Iron Cozy! on: March 29, 2008 11:26:53 PM
This is a pretty good Idea. However. Aren't you concerned that even though it's heat resistant it will still cause issues? I guess it would depend on how hot your appliance got.

Maybe it's just the over cautiousness in me.!

I do love it though. And would be interested to hear how it goes
277  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Random Shirt and Jacket. (lots of pictures) on: March 28, 2008 07:48:54 PM
Wow. I love this jacket. I wish I was confident enough to try one. Any tips on what makes it easier? You seem like a very confident sewer. Smiley

Nice bra too
