Isn't this the cutest mini donut you've ever seen?  I'm proud that I finally figured out the pattern (is was in Japanese and I do NOT speak or read that!!!)

I am hoping to make other food pieces when I get the right beads (a lot of the items require both 3mm and 4mm Swar. Bicones in the same color...)  Speaking of, anyone have a good on-line Swarovski retailer that ships to Canada?  I'd love to hear comments!

I bought some new weaving books off Ebay and this is one design I had the right beads to finish... it's a beaded drop pendant.
(Unfortunately the books are in Japanese text, but the images are fabulous, and I was able to figure out most of the directions from them!)

It kinda looks vintage a bit, since I used some frosted crystals.  I love it! 

I have seen this gorgeous beaded donut-pendant pattern in a book.  (I'm pretty sure it's THIS book, for anyone who MAY have the book in their stash somewhere!?!)

Does anyone else use pigment or other liquid coloring with their resin?  What were the results?  What did you like and hate about certain products?  I'd love to know!!!

[I know we all work very hard on our beautiful creations... I just wanted to throw out a few tips to help us capture this beauty to the best of our camera's ability!]

Use the Macro setting, it usually captures the most detail on your typically small jewelry pieces.
If your Macro setting is still taking fuzzy pictures, place the camera a bit farther away from the subject as you take your picture.  Use your favorite cropping tool on the photo once the picture has been uploaded to your computer.
