201  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Bead Weaving **Tutorial & Pics Added!** on: October 06, 2007 02:46:15 PM
I am new around these bulletin boards, but thought I'd start a thread for people who love to weave with beads!  (As do I!)

I have created many bead weaving projects... here are just a few:

Zen Flower Pendant

202  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / Re: RESIN on: October 06, 2007 08:43:55 AM
I justed used Envirotex Lite Pour On epoxy resin for the first time.

Is it... normal... for it to be tacky after 24 hours? I thought it should be soft cured by then.

Also, what does soft cured really mean?

I also just tried the Envirotex Lite Pour on Epoxy last night, and I left it on the fireplace mantle to cure, and after 12 hours it's soft cured (meaning you can't totally bend it but you can make a fingernail mark in it)  By chance did you try to add a dye to it?  That might have changed it's curing time.

I just took pics of my molds. http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2392/1498619305_3f4518c254.jpg

Still only half full!  Working on completing them today!!!
