1  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Leaf Shawl Pins on: August 21, 2011 02:06:07 PM
Hi All

I thought I would share the latest things that I have been working on.  I started them at the end of the school year and have finished them off at home - I'm really pleased with how they turned out.

The leaves were firstly dried out and then I pressed the leaf and sheet copper through the rolling mill, I then pierced out the shape and the veins on the copper leaf, finally I attached a pin made out of brass wire to the back.  I have left the front of the leaves oxidised as I think it adds to the design.  I've sealed them all with a laquer to prevent any tarnishing/rub off.

Let me know what you thing c&c welcome.

2  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Stitch Marker Gift Cards on: July 22, 2009 02:47:15 AM
I though I would show off my latest creation - Stitch Marker Gift Cards. They are a gift and a greetings card in one.

I am thinking that when I make future ones I will put some coloured tissue paper behind the markers so that they will stand out a little more.

Let me know what you think. C&C's welcome!

Thanks for looking!

3  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Tiny animal stich markers (picture obese) on: August 10, 2008 07:51:52 AM
I have been lurking here for a while so decided it was about time I made my first post.  I have been making these tiny animal stitch markers and some buttons.  I would love some feedback.

They are around 2cm high at their tallest and are currently made into stitch markers, although I am thingking of making some into cell charms.

Let me know what you think.
