Hope your life is less hectic and your husband is okay! Thank you for hosting.
Got my partner and now I am narrowing down ideas....  Grin
1972  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Ongoing ATC Swap - February 2012's GALLERY! on: February 13, 2012 06:36:32 AM
I thought I had the gallery bookmarked but I didn't! Oops! It's a great month so far!
Jillybeans - That Gollum card is absolutely amazing. I think it is my favorite card of yours. Superb!
WideEyedLife - Beautiful as always. You are a real talent.
hippywitch - Love that goddess. It is really cool. Love the style!

Yay! Today is the day! I have scribbled down a bunch of ideas and now I can see which direction to take.  Grin  Can't wait to get my partner!
1974  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Ongoing ATC Swap - January 2012 Gallery on: February 12, 2012 04:51:07 PM
I had twopartners that were unable to post today so I am going to post them.
First up was sent to mjnovak for zombies.

My hubby didn't get it. I told him she was void of color because she just died and the other person has to cut off her head before she turns. I have been reading a lot of the Forest of Hands and Teeth. LOL!

Next up is Tinkerbell for dewshinesdopp. She is sitting on Hook's ummm... hook.  Grin

Thanks for swapping with me ladies!
1975  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) / Re: First ATC on: February 12, 2012 07:16:26 AM
I like the girl at what I think is the subway best. It really sets a story! Great job on all of them. You should definitely join the swap! We would love to have you!
1976  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) / January ATCs - some not posted yet. Pick heavy & some nudes! on: February 11, 2012 05:15:21 PM
Hello All! This year I am following Jillybeans lead and posting the ATC's I made each month in here. I think it's neat to see them all together and I know not everyone checks out the ATC swap gallery (even though you should!). My cat, Venkman, is helping me with this so sorry if there are a bunch of misspells. He likes to type too!
Some of these cards are in the Dec gallery, but I did them in Jan....
Sorry this post is so pic heavy. I had a very productive month. I also made three for my sister but forget to get pictures of them so I will add those to next months...
Faerie tale Red Riding Hood,
#14. I picked this then had no idea what to do,
I absolutely LOVED Thundercats as a child. I drew Cheetara ALL the time!,
I have a list of things I wanted to do this year and books as backgrounds was one of them,
I just wanted to do the eyes like that. It's my fave Geisha look. This card may have been lost in the mail...,
I really wanted to do a cut out one. I likes the way she turned out. ,
so you can tell that she is clear in the background. I did them the same day.,
Guys aren't as easy to draw for me as girls but I was pleased with this one. Oh, and I LOVE Copic markers! LOL!,

This one is for Zombies. She just dies, that's why she is in black and white and the person over her has to remove her head before she reawakens and is a zombie. My husband did NOT get it. Maybe I was reading too much "Forest of hands and Teeth" at the time.  Embarrassed
The first fearie makes your belt feel tight even when you know you haven't gained weight, the second steals your sunglasses ( I can never keep a pair for longer than a week) and the final faerie that makes your eyes dry and itchy.
, Guess who got a circle template? Yep, you'll see more of this type. I really liked the idea that she could be anywhere. You could put a field, sky, fire, whatever being her.
And this was for an ABC of people with weird hobbies.
Oops! Forgot these. I thought they were for Dec but they aren't...
These were for a personal swap, colorful hairstyles. I wanted to work on profiles and play with my new markers too.

This one was scratchboard. I ordered a bunch of it just so I can try to do more than just drawing. I am horrible at embellishing! LOL!
Last but not least...Tinkerbell on Hook's hook.  Wink

Thanks for looking! And a BIG THANK YOU to everyone who swapped with me! I enjoyed all the ATCs I got this month! Thank You!

I signed up for the five. I wanted them all to be completely different, but if one turns out best they all may go that way. LOL!

BlueSheep - Your hooplas are cool, but as someone who JUST finished reading the Hunger Games and was in the TM patch swap...I want to see that bag when you are done! LOL! Looks great so far!
rlynn - love that necklace. Piecing things together like that is just not in my ability. I am envious!
Mommasfrogging - Um, WOW!!! You made an amazing swap package! That Skeletor was insane!
Smashu - I didn't go back far enough to catch that apron so now I am going to have to go searching. We are both in the Monster High swap and I can't wait to see what you come up with there. I have seen some of your cosplay and your amazing! Plus, classroom Frankie is my favorite doll. Sewing and Monster High.  Wink

Jillybeans you crack me up! Those are great links though. It's so fun to see everyone's work all together, you really get a better sense of their style. I need to get my self in gear and post all my last months ATC's in the community section.
Last night I cut some blanks for bookmarks and worked on some possible ideas. I am excited!
