Those are wonderful backgrounds. I can't believe you cut that book! Ha! At least it went to a wonderful cause. ATC's! Wink
1822  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Burlesque Zombie Pinup Girl Cross Stitch on: April 16, 2012 08:59:05 AM
She IS amazing!! Fantastic job. Did you use a pattern or make it up? Love all the details! The bats, and cherry skulls, and the boarder frame. All phenomenal!
1823  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: Brooches (aka Shirt Bling) on: April 12, 2012 01:12:17 PM
Oh! I love these! Especially the grey one. I have a thing for grey. This would be an awesome way to snazz up a shirt. Neat idea! I may have to try this once my life settles a bit.
1824  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Loom Knitted Cowl on: April 12, 2012 01:05:01 PM
I love these! They are so warm and handy (you can throw them in your purse if it heats up) and you don't have the bulkiness of a scarf hanging around and getting caught on things. The magnetic snap is a neat idea too.
1825  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: The Beatles Wall Hanging on: April 12, 2012 12:50:08 PM
I don't know which Beatle it is, but the second one is my favorite. I like the fabric. It looks very Beatles era. Amazing job. Looks like a lot of work. I bet your fingers were sore!

Awe. So jealous of the Rochelle's and Jackson's. My store hasn't gotten any in yet.  Sad  I am being patient though. I think they send them out to different states first because it took my store 3 weeks to get Spectra after she was released but got Abbey before anywhere else.  Huh
Did you ever get your werecat twins Cursive_Queen?

Oh, don't be nervous SunnyDawn! Your card is great! Are the pictures cut out? If so you have a very steady hand to cut those tiny pieces so neatly! Like the border too.  Cheesy

Found out you have to be a member of K-Marts rewards program (I am sure you could sign up while there) and you have to have a coupon at Toys R Us (go to the web site and look at the weekly ad and you can click on the ad and it will give you a bunch of coupons including Frankie for $4.13 and one for buy 1 doll get 1 doll 30% off excluding SS Frankie). I don't think Wal-mart needs anything but I heard they have had theirs out since last Sunday and are almost impossible to find. No clue about Target.

Does everyone know about the B&W Skull Shores Frankie Stein on sale Friday at Wal-mart, Target, K-Mart and Toys R Us for $4.13? She is the Friday the 13th special. I have two on hold for me. I plan on working on a custom one with the extra! Just thought I would share in case someone hadn't heard.

Haha. I love the gears. Is it sad the first thing I did was follow the paths to make sure it was not an overconstrained system. And it's not! Assuming there is clearance in some of the tight spots. But it could actually be built. Art project! And great ATC M and C!
Hahaha! I did the same thing. Too long at an engineering firm looking at machines! Ha!
I love that you thought outside of the box, Mountains and Clouds! The reflections, gears, wonderful ideas! I feel like I am lacking in that lately so big props!
