1631  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: Dollhouse accessories on: January 24, 2014 05:53:21 AM
I can't claim a favorite. I squealed over all of them! The yarn is adorable. Absolutely adorable and so is that basket! Okay, just realized I may NEED one of those baskets for something Little Red Riding Hood, what I have no idea yet but your inspiring me!
And those dominoes are the coolest. They are SO tiny! I cant imagine making those. I would go crazy but they look so fantastic. Well worth your sanity! LOL!
 Love, love, love it all!

I haven't been on this board yet. Silly me. I guess I am just not paying attention.
I love the reroot FreakieGeekie and I cannot wait to see your doll! I collect them. I have a room full of them and they are all over the floor. I need to either put up shelves or stop buying them.  Roll Eyes I keep saying I am going to make a custom but is SO much work. Just getting the face clean like you did takes a bunch of time! I don't think people realize it. And rerooting. Ugh. Hours!!! I did it once and the seem for the part split and I quit.  Cry
I am really excited to see what you come up with!

Yeah, you can send Kindle books to them via email. My future SIL did that for me once.
1634  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Re: A Girl and Her Monster on: January 23, 2014 07:17:48 AM
Love these! They are so cute and imaginative! I like the simplistic background. It gives more focus on the girl and the monster.  Smiley

Love the style and I am so jealous of your backgrounds. Very beautiful. Keep it up!

Very pretty angel and the website looked interesting too. Can't wait to see what else you come up with!

Love Annie Lennox. I can listen to "walking on broken glass" over and over and over. Beautiful art journal page. It has such a soft feel with the colors.

Project Name: Scrappy Fabric Bracelets
Project Page Link (if available):
Brief Description: I chose my favorite number, three, which just so happens to be the number of cats I have.  Wink I used LesliesHappyHeart's pattern for these cute bracelets. Here is a like to her tutorial http://lesliesartandsew.blogspot.com/2011/12/scrappy-braided-fabric-bracelet.html
They are so easy and fun to make! There are THREE bracelets each with THREE strands of fabric. You basically braid them. I was able to use my stash once again except for the rose buttons. I saw them and couldn't resist!

I love the idea but I'll have to get back to you on the timing.  Wink

I would push back the send date too. Sending on Mardi Gras is a neat idea but a week and a half craft time would be really pushing it for me. Especially if I had my step-son on the weekend. We have sports to go to for him so that is basically an entire day out.  Undecided  Plus if we wanted to order any supplies. Or if your waiting for your paycheck so you can buy stuff. I would give at least three weeks crafting. It may seem long but when your life is hectic that is still too short sometimes.
