I think I announced I was going to switch this about a month ago but may have said it over on the thread board on accident. Just in case here it is again.
Research Project Name: Quilt for Dad
Brief Description: I plan to make my first ever quilt for my Father for Christmas. I am hoping to do the nine square block method and put squares that represent my family in it. I have never quilted anything before so we will see how this works out.
It will be slightly smaller in size to fit on him while he is in his recliner. I guess that is a lap quilt but longer...
Week 1 - Gather supplies such as fabrics, batting, and backing material as well as quilting rulers (?) and the such. And probably researching more on how to actually make this work.
Week 2 - cut squares and sew top of quilt together.
Week 3 - finish sewing top of quilt together and actually quilting it (or whatever the technical term is).
Week 4 - finish quilt, add binding around outside, and clean up loose threads.
