I have a couple of the configuration boxes from Tim Holts
I was planning on using that. Is that right?
1212  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: 4 x 6 Art Swap - Fall 2014 ~ Send out by November 15 on: November 06, 2014 07:11:08 AM
wow cmarion3!  I also now use only Elmers Glue for crackle.  I got tired of 1) long dry times 2) expense and 3) crap did not crackle!!!  The trick is you really do have to make sure the glue is bone dry...if it the least bit tacky, it will not crackle...I do think layers as well if I want a build up for deep cracks.  Or you can cheat and use a crackle stamp... Grin
Cheating and using a crackle stamp may be my only hope. LOL! I swear I went thru a swap where I tried about four different kind and different methods and was a failure. Crackle paint and origami and my two nemesis's.
I plan to send mine out on Monday. I need to find a stiff board type backing to make sure it arrives safely.  Grin

Those look really cool Bunny1kenobi. Are they on canvas or wooden plaques? Very nice. I like that they are fun super heroes yet done in a kind of sophisticated way.  Wink

I am having some material issues - my crackle glaze for one idea is not coming together.  Oh well, let's see what happens.

Oh no! I hope things work out. Good luck!
Ditto that! I have yet to get a Crackle Glaze to work for me no matter what, no matter brand. I have no idea what I do wrong.  Embarrassed

Great costume. She is adorable and clever idea on using the bear costume as the base. Worked out really well.
